Phi Phi is a part of the Noppharat Thara National Park and it is about 40 kilometers from Krabi which covers an area around 35 square kilometers. The name Phi Phi is kept after the two biggest islands in the archipelago: Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. The worldwide people love these natural treasures which are gained from their location. Take a look at all the islands near Phi Phi that has plenty to offer just like these islands themselves.

Koh Khai Nok

Koh Khai Nok is considered as the hidden gem of the Phi Phi Islands. We go along the Sapan Bay, heading southeast to reach the Koh Khai Nok. In the north, there are Rang Yai Islands with Pearl Farm in front, and radio masts and hills overlooking Phuket Town.

Koh Khai Nok is a small triangular Island, which is almost similar to the size of a large football pitch with rocky headlands and white sands surrounding this gorgeous Island. The islands are home to a huge plethora of coastal marine flora and fauna found in the Island with close to 12 different rich varieties of tropical fish. Koh Khai Nok consists of multi-millions wooden cruising yachts built on them.

Koh Bida Nai

It is enormous than Koh Bida Nai. Any level diving can be done in Koh Bida according to one’s convenience. Usually, people prefer starting from the east of Koh Bida and slowly dive towards the south of the rock. One of the major USPs of the place is that there are many underwater caves presenting you with a joyride of an adventure. Koh Bida Nok has an abundant marine life variety.

Koh Yao Nai 

These islands are well developed and are known for the aura of peace around it, making it famous worldwide after Conservation International and National Geographic Traveler magazine gave away an award for the World Legacy Award for Destination Stewardship. These are considered as one of the top islands near Phi Phi. Koh Yao Yai means ‘big long island’ in Thai, and the name perfectly suits this large piece of land lying between Phuket and Phi Phi islands.



Mosquito Island

It is known for its underwater surroundings of distinctive soft coral reefs and marine life. The most attractive feature of visiting this place is the presence of a three-headed pinnacle that is present at a depth of 15m offering a home to blacktip reef sharks. One of the islands around Phi Phi where these sharks can be sited. Located not far from Bamboo Island, Mosquito is the northernmost island of the Phi Phi group. Despite it having two usable beaches, it is rarely visited for the reason that gave it its name: mosquitoes infest the island.

Hence visiting Phi-Phi And its nearby Islands is highly recommended between November to April. The temperatures are moderate and reliable. This is the phi island overview which everyone should visit atleast once for relaxing and rejuvenating yourself.
