7-Eleven, the world's largest Convenience store chain, recently spoke of hiring over 20,000 employees. 7-Eleven (SVNDY) on its website said that some of the new recruits will fill their 7NOW app delivery positions to transport food, grocery, household, and health products to customers in about 400 cities.

Papa Johns
On March 23, the Papa Johns (Pizza) website had talked about hiring 20,000 new team members. The company is looking for employees in positions such as shift lead and driver.

According to the FedEx website, 850 positions are vacant in the US. The company is hiring due to increased demand for delivery in lockdown. The company told an agency that most of the package handlers and delivery drivers are being appointed for the post.

Netflix
Netflix has spoken of hiring 200 new employees globally, 100 of them in South California and Salt City Lake. The company needs employees in different fields like production, platform engineering, tech and management.

General Motors
General Motors (GM) told a media agency that Kokomo is hiring temporary workers to manufacture medical ventilators in Indiana. The company needs 1100 employees for this. GM has agreed to produce 600 ventilators by the end of April and a total of 30,000 ventilators by the end of August.

Fidelity investment
Fidelity reported on Friday that it intends to add 2,000 full-time employees to its nationwide workforce. A spokesperson said the new roles include financial advisor, licensed representative, software engineer and customer service representative. The company first announced its latest recruitment efforts on 13 April.

Dollar Tree
According to the Dollar Tree (DLTR) company website, it wants to hire more than 25,000 new workers. The company needs employees for full and part-time roles at its stores.
