How A Street Kid With No Future Prospects Became An Entrepreneur And A Source Of Inspiration?

When we were born, humanity was given, but preserving humanity is an option. Amin Sheikh is a person who actively works in the service of the nation’s homeless. Amin was already a street boy and is now an entrepreneur and a published author.

Insights Of Early Life

Amin grew up in a poor family in Mumbai, Malad. His father was a drunker & pervert and left the family when Amin was just 5year old. Later, his mother marries some other guy. He was abused by his abused step-father every day.  Amen started working at such a small age.

Later, Amen starts working at a tea shop where his job is to supply teacups. One day while carrying a tray of tea glasses, he slipped and all the glasses were shattered. Knowing the consequences of beatings both at work and at home, he decided to run away. He went and sat at Malad station and think what's next!

Amin saw a lot of kids playing at the train station and then joined them. He did all sorts of weird things like polishing shoes, selling different things, and even singing on the train. Many passengers pushed him away.

Entry Of Angle With a lot Of Opportunities

When Amin was eight years old, an angel came into her life as Sister Seraphine. His sister Sabira, who had run away from home in search of him, joined him at Dadar station. Sister Seraphine took the two to an orphanage.

Here Amino's life turns into a choice. However one day he ran away as he was unable to remember the prayer and was afraid to face the situation. Father Placido Fonseca found him and advised him and brought him back to where he had come from. At the shelter, Amin went through the most beautiful years of his life and felt loved, accepted, and cared for.

He then started working as an assistant to the renowned Eustace Fernandes. When Amin worked there, he never felt that he was looking at him from above or that he was being mistreated. He received great respect. "Eustace's friends came from all over the world. They never talked about me as a driver, "he says.

Turning Point Of Journey

Every Christmas, Eustace gave Amina something. In 2002, he asked Amin what he wanted from the festival. Amin told him without hesitation that he wanted to go to Barcelona and only Eustace could open unknown doors to the world for him to understand and learn about different things and people.

Later that night, Eustace made a postcard and handed it to Amin. The card read: “Merry Christmas, Amen. April 23, 2003 Departure for Barcelona. "

The following year, Amen traveled to Barcelona. First, he noticed that there were no homeless children on the road. People treated each other with respect. The cafe showed no discrimination. Many questions arise in his mind.

Birth of the B2B

Amen was extremely grateful to Eustace for everything she had done for him. Returning to Mumbai with the idea of starting something to serve people, he opened a coffee library in Morole, called Mumbai from Bombay to Barcelona. "

The cafe is run by street children, giving them the ability to control their lives and support themselves. Initially, Amen faced various atrocities and was also deceived many times. Despite this, he never gave up on his idea.

He also wrote the book "Life is Life, I am because of You" which has already become an international bestseller. His book is available in nine languages and has sold nearly 20,000 copies. He uses the proceeds from the sale to fund his coffee. Now he plans to open a café in Barcelona that will be run by refugees and homeless people.

People like Amin are a gift to our society. Despite the various challenges he has faced, he continues to work for the community and serve the people.
