MODEL FOR MOTHER'S DREAM AND IAS FOR HER OWN DREAM- AISHWARYA SHEORAN

"DREAM IS NOT THAT WHICH YOU SEE WHILE SLEEPING. IT'S SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT LET YOU SLEEP.'

              -APJ ABDUL KALAM SIR.

The former MISS INDIA finalist and an ACE MODEL, AISHWARYA SHEORAN is the present example of 'nothing is impossible'! From Miss India's finalist 2016 to IAS OFFICER 2019 she proved you can achieve everything you wish. Aishwarya cleared UPSC Civil services exams securing 93rd AIR rank in CSE 2019, the results are available on upsc.gov.in.

Aishwarya Sheoran is a Femina Miss India 2016 finalist who secured 93rd rank. She has also previously won beauty pageants like 'Times Fresh Face' and 'Campus Princess' in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

Miss Aishwarya was born on 18 January 1997 in Sirsa, Haryana. Her father is a Colonel in the Indian Army, Ajay Kumar while her mother, Suman Sheoran, is a homemaker. Her younger brother, Aman Sheoran, is a cricketer playing for the Mumbai Under 23 team. Originally hailing from Churu, Rajasthan, Aishwarya spent most of her childhood shifting from one place to another and changing schools as her father got posted to a different place every couple of years or so. Although she shifted to different places time-to-time she had naturally inculcated the habit of studying. She was 'HEAD GIRL' of her school namely, Sanskrit School. Aishwarya passed out from Sanskriti School, New Delhi in 2014 with a brilliant aggregate of 97% from Science background. She completed her graduation in Economics from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce of Delhi in 2017. She was always good at academics as per her. She didn't take any coaching classes to clear CSE. When asked how she managed to study in such a tight schedule she said,

'I had to switch off my phone, social media, and everything, to focus on the exam and the result is here. But it's not that I suddenly generated interest in studies. I was always studious.'

In an interview with a reporter after CSE result declaration, Aishwarya tells us,
"My mother named me Aishwarya after Aishwarya Rai because she wanted me to become Miss India and I was eventually chosen in the top 21 finalists for Miss India."

Aishwarya had always dreamed to be a Civil Servant so she took a break from her modeling career to try for Civil Services and cleared it.
'AISHWARYA WAS A PERFECT DAUGHTER WHO FULFILLED HER MOTHER'S WISH AND HER OWN WISH TOO'.

Her journey started from Delhi Fresh Face, a beauty pageant that was followed by many others. She was asked to participate for Miss India thereafter which let her set a firm foot in the modeling industry.
Aishwarya started doing high fashion runway modeling after her stint in Miss India. She walked the ramp for many well-known designers like 'Manish Malhotra' and 'Anita Dongre' in some of the most prestigious fashion shows in the country like the Lakme Fashion Week and Amazon Fashion Week to name a few. Aishwarya also featured in GQ, one of the most popular fashion magazines in the world!
She says, I thought I should try for civil services for diversity in the family and the ultimate idea is to serve the nation. In the army, there are opportunities for women to grow but still very limited. In civil services, there is no limit to what a woman can achieve.

She has clearly set up a path for all other youngsters showing a human can switch to anything, no matter, how much different a field is! Modeling is a stream that doesn't require any educational degree whereas UPSC is all about studies and is the toughest exam in India. She had managed both responsibilities as one was her mother's dream and one was her own dream! Her preparation for UPSC should have been difficult because she needs to cut downtime from social media, mobile phones, beauty hacks, and so on but as she said in an interview although I had a tight schedule to follow but still I managed it all because I was studious too!

Her ability is just a clear indication of the proverb:
"Where there is a will, there is a way!"
