The second wave of corona in the country is not over yet and in the meantime, a third wave has been feared. The National Institute of Disaster Management i.e. NIDM has said in the report submitted to the PMO and the Union Home Ministry that the third wave of corona may come in October. It will start in September and reach its peak in October and end in November.

In October, up to 5 lakh cases can come up in a day. However, its effect will last only for a month. According to the report, the third wave of corona will affect children and adults equally. With the receipt of the report, the government has become alert and necessary measures are being brainstormed.

The report describes how medical staff, doctors, nurses, ambulances, oxygen as well as medicines, and medical equipment will have to be arranged in the country in this situation. Along with this, it has been advised that now the work on vaccination of children should be started expeditiously in the country. Especially Kovid wards should be made where children can also be kept. According to the report, the good thing is that the third wave of corona will not be as deadly as the second wave.
