Saloni Hamirwasia, founder of the bootstrapped startup company Zoh has taken the fermented food industry to the next level. Zoh is a company that makes probiotics and has started to earn its name in the Kombucha industry due to the quality of the product. When concluded it clearly can be seen that the company’s success is because of the quality of its product which is also the reason for standing out of the company.

About Salonii Hamirwasia

The very ambitious research scientist, Salonii Hamirwasia who has done triple masters in nutrition and sports science from India, the UK, and Switzerland who was researching the effectiveness of probiotics on athletic performance at the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland. Being in such a good position where life seems to be settled, Salonii had never thought that she would make such an impact in the fermented food industry.

She had studies the microbiome effect on health by which the effect of the probiotics on the gut and health can be detected.

The Differentiable - Zoh

The company was officially incorporated in 2018 but it took almost a year to fully set it up. The company stands out in the crowd as the way of making the product is different and away effective and so it increases the quality of the product too.

It offers a wide variety of products such as, various flavors of kombucha, DIY culture starter kits for fermented products like Kefir, Greek yogurt, Bulgarian yogurt.

Most of the owners of Kombucha are yoga teachers, chefs, or self-proclaimed nutritionists whereas in Zoh they make the Kombucha with a blend of advanced food technology and scientific culture methods.

Saloni says that the Kombucha market will grow up to 7.05 billion by 2027 and she also announced that her company will be coming with 6 new flavors of Kombucha.

Even in this deadly pandemic situation, Salonii says that the sales have been good and that’s because in the lockdown period people have become more attentive towards their mental and physical health and so the supplies of Kombucha never really stops and the company is all set to boost its sales after the pandemic.
