Flipkart And Max Fashion Had Joined Hands To Expand Their Fashion Reach Ahead Of Festive Season

Walmart-owned Flipkart revealed this Wednesday that it has join hands with Max Fashions. They further added that this partnership will help Max Fashion to have a wider reach as its products across categories, including apparel, accessories, and footwear, will be available in every available destination and pin codes where Flipkart has its reach.

Not only the partners will have a bang on start but this move will also help customers to have a new fashion exposure ahead of the festive season.

The report says, Flipkart will offer more than 13,000 new styles from Max Fashion with the majority of these products under Rs 1,000 price point.

Max Fashion is a brand under the banner of Dubai-based Landmark Group and in recent times has become quite popular in India. Max Fashion has about 340 stores across 130 cities in the country and already sells more than 100 million garments through its omni-channel presence.

And now Max Fashion has decided to join hands with Flipkart. Max Fashion's products are also sold on Amazon India as well.

"We have been working on expanding our omni-channel presence and the importance of that was clear with the pandemic situation," Shital Mehta, CEO of Max Fashion India and MD, Lifestyle International said.

Max Fashion stated that their revenues increased from online channels in the last few months so they are focusing more on online reach and easy accessibility.

Mr. Shital Mehta further added that- "This partnership with Flipkart enables us to further expand our presence and reach the next 200 million customers who live in Tier-II and III cities and provide them access to our amazing fashion at unbelievable prices".

On the other hand, Nishit Garg, Vice President of Flipkart Fashion, said the partnership with Max Fashion is one of its biggest collaborations this year.

Ecommerce companies get a large amount of their business coming in during the festive sales and accordingly ramp up their reach and capacity to be able to handle the spike in orders.

So what could be better than doing something like this ahead of the festive season?

As per recent business estimations, it is seen that 45-50 million people shopped online last year in the first sale during the festive season offered by various players like Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, and Shopclues and it almost becomes double post-COVID-19 lockdown. So, it is expected that festive sales will have almost double revenue this year.

Also, this pandemic has made people restricted to go out like before so the number of shoppers online has increased like never before and during the festive sales it seems maximum people will enjoy shopping online sitting safely at home.

Nishit Garg, Vice President - Flipkart Fashion, said the partnership with Max Fashion is one of its biggest collaborations this year. Now, let’s see how this business estimation works and how this collaboration creates a reach to people.

I’m excited about the launch. Are you also excited for the same? Do let me know your views in the comment section.
