Zoho Corp Won the Aatmnirbhar Bharat App Innovation challenge in Business and Office Category

Zoho Corp won the challenge Aatmnirbhar Bharat App Innovation and stand up as first in the Business and Office Category.

Zoho Corp is founded by Mr. Sridhar Vembu in 1996 who has done a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton US  and since then the company is serving the SMB and CRM Markets by Cloud-Based business solutions.  The company is serving the different business areas from more than 2 decades and have more than 45 business application in the section of Human Resources, Customer Relationship Management Software, Office Productivity, Customer Services, Finance. They also have 50millions customers worldwide.

When asked about to state on winning the app innovation challenge, Zoho respond;

“This kind of nationwide open competition is the fastest way to get headlines towards apps that can change the everyday lives of business owners. Although Zoho's products have a worldwide reputation, the competition was not easy. With scalability and adaptability to vernacular languages ​​and privacy, the products were evaluated in  such a way that is easy to begin  for a small business but also consider handling the complex requirements of the business."

Prime  Minister Narendra Modi conducted the App Innovation Challenge on July 4, when 59 Chinese applications were banned by India for augmentation of domestic applications. This challenged was organized by Niti Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission, My Gov India along MeitY have the vision to promote the existing domestic app.

We are thankful for the Government of India for bringing such kind of opportunity and respected panel of members for their evaluation for different categories and justify the result must be a difficult task for them as well.  It’s an honor for us to get selected for the business and office category and we feel proud of providing world-class products and its solutions made in India all over the world along with Indian businesses.

More than 5500 plus entrepreneurs and startups applied for the evaluation of the Aatmnirbhar Bharat App Challenge. Zoho’s five apps won this challenge for business and office categories in the different segments – Zoho Books, Zoho Expenses, Zoho Invoices, Zoho Workplace and Zoho Cliq.
