MBA Dropout Initiates A Digital App To Locate The Doctors And Patients Both For Their Blood Requirements

Watching his father donate blood since his childhood, the cause has always been special respect to Raghav Baldwa’s heart. He followed his custom at the age of 17, but there was more that he wanted to accomplish.

Back in his home town of Indore, he noticed that there are so many people who were finding it extremely difficult to find blood donors in cases of emergencies. This makes Raghav decide to link the gap between donors and people in need, he put up pamphlets in five government hospitals, three private hospitals, and a few medical stores, asking people seeking blood donors to contact him.

Raghav Baldwa, MBA dropout from T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, attributes his success to his college’s alumni who have been instrumental help at every step of the way. Raghav received support from friends and family with assistance from various organisations like AIESEC, which have helped him in organizing and promoting the cause of blood donation. He starts from social media platforms which benefited him with great appreciation and response. Hence, it proved valuable steps to begin. This gave birth to his initiation, which he named BLOODSURE.

Blood sure is a platform where patients and their families can connect to the right blood donors. They have helped people in blood and platelet donation emergencies.

Raghav Baldwa, the founder of blood Sure has worked hard on a blood donation app which will be a location-based application that will locate and communicate with blood donors in proximity.

They have raised around $5000 in seed funding in 2013. it's a new initiative in collaboration with the WHO( World Health Organisation) to raise awareness and help people with depressions.
