Today Our Honorable PM Modi Is Launching Matsya Sampada Yojana, who would benefit

The PMMSY i.e Matsya Sampada Yojana scheme will be unveiled tonight by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is anticipated that some 55 lakh people will get jobs from it. It will produce 70 more lakh tonnes of fish in five years under this scheme. This is doubling Rs 1,00,000 crore fish exports. At the same time, the Prime Minister will also introduce the e-Gopala App for Direct Farmer Race Development and Knowledge Portal. The Prime Minister will also initiate a host of additional initiatives in the fishing and animal husbandry sectors in Bihar on this occasion.

20,050 crores will be spent

The largest fisheries fund of PMMSY is 20,050 crore rupees. In Offshore, Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture, and about Rs 7710 crore for Fish Infrastructure, an expenditure of approximately Rs 12340 crore is planned. Only people from the fishing community will benefit from Matsya Sampada yojana. This scheme only refers to those who belong to the aquatic areas and work or are involved in aquaculture. Fishermen will benefit from badly suffering as a result of natural disasters such as earthquake , flood, cyclone. Fish farmers will easily obtain a Rs 3 lakh loan. The fisheries are linked to the Kisan Credit Card by the government.

Farmers will now pursue KCC fish and shrimp fish. Credit card holders of farmers can use a 4 percent interest rate for loans up to Rs 3 lakh. Simultaneously, interest on contributions to the loan on time shall be paid separately. In announcing the relief package, Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that Rs 11,000 crore funds for activities in the fields of fisheries, domestic fishing and aquaculture would be made available.

The PM tweeted about e-Gopala, saying it offers our hard-working farmers an extensive breed improvement market. It is a groundbreaking initiative that will be very helpful to the farming industry.

There is currently no digital platform for farmers in the country handling cattle including the acquisition and distribution, under any conditions (semen, embryos, etc.), of diseases-free germplasm. The app is used to instruct farmers on artificial insemination, first aid for livestock, vaccination, care, etc. and animal nutrition.This app also informs on vaccine deadlines, pregnancy treatments, relaxation, etc. and different government services, local initiatives. In all these ways, the e-Gopala app will give farmers solutions.
