The bank said that it will start charging fees from December 1, 2021. SBI Cards and Payment Services Private Limited (SBICPCL) said that cardholders will now have to pay a processing fee of Rs 99 along with tax for EMI transactions. SBICPSL said that transactions done before December 1 will be exempted from the processing charge. The company will inform the customers of the processing charges on EMI transactions through charge slips while making purchases at retail outlets. If the customer buys something from the e-commerce website through EMI. Then the company will levy a processing fee of Rs 99 and tax on the payment by credit card of State Bank. This amount will also appear in the credit card statement.

At the same time, pensioners can submit their life certificates through video life certificate service from November 1. For this, it is necessary to have an account in State Bank. To avail of this service, the mobile number must be registered with the bank account. That number should be there in the pension application.
