First Kids Friendly Newspaper Is To Be Launched By Two Assamese Women
Kids are diverting themselves towards gaming and they are becoming less social. So, keeping this thing in mind, two Assamese ladies have launched a weekly newspaper which is specifically designed for kids.
Nowadays children are diverting themselves from reading habits and creativity to mobile gaming addiction. But why is this happening? The simple answer is- they are finding something more interesting in gaming.
In today's world, there are lots of newspapers and news channels filled with loud opinions, debates, fake news, chaos, and noise but there is little content available which is really appropriate for kids in newspapers and news channels. That's why they turn themselves towards gaming.
Keeping this thing in mind, Neelam Sethia and Neha Bajaj, two entrepreneur ladies from Guwahati, have launched a newspaper which has been specifically designed for kids. The newspaper named "The Young Minds" has been launched with the motive to promote creative thinking and writing among children.
"The Young Minds" has been designed specifically for the kids of 4 to 14 years of age group.
This weekly newspaper contains a lot of creative content like games, puzzles, riddles, vocabulary, science and maths experiments, fun facts, and news. Not only this but also this newspaper offers kids a platform to showcase their art and make their writings published and win prizes by making them participate in monthly contests.
Content of "The Young Minds", designing and marketing aspects are managed by "The Virtual String" which is a digital marketing company run by Anjali Sethia and Kritika Sethia.
In fact, reading gives the power to the child to understand and comprehend their thoughts in a productive way. It helps them in developing key language and social skills. The first copy of "The Young Minds" is expected to release in November.
