GOOGLE was officially launched in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin to market Google Search, which has become the most used web-based search engine. Larry Page and Sergey Brin, students at Stanford University in California, developed a search algorithm at first known as “Backrub”, with the help of Scott Hassan and Alan Sternberg. The search engine soon provided successfully and the expanding company moved several times, finally settled in mountain view in 2003. GOOGLE has engaged partnerships with NASA, AOL, Sun Microsystems, News Corporation, Sky UK, and others. The company set up a charitable offshoot, Google.org, in 2005.

Google on March rolled out an India-specific website on coronavirus during the pandemic that delivers comprehensive information about the pandemic, and how to stay productive during this time. The website www.google.co.in/covid19- contains information such as key helpline numbers, content about symptoms, productive measures during this time. It also hosts a collection of videos on how people can use their time productively while at home, as well as resources and training modules for individuals, small businesses, and educators to stay connected and informed.
Thus, Google created a very good platform for job seekers which is a very simple method by which people can search their jobs.
