Inside Saif Ali Khan’s Golden Birthday Bash!

Saif Ali Khan turned 50 yesterday and the Nawaab celebrated the special occasion with wife Kareena Kapoor, sister Soha Ali Khan, and a few family members and close friends. The party was an intimate affair at his residence which was decorated in gold accents to mark his 50 years. Saifu cut two cakes, a two-tiered extravagant treat in gold-and-black and a photo-cake with a picture of his three children.

Kareena shared a glimpse of Saif’s intimate birthday party on her official Instagram handle. Firstly, she shared two videos along with a sweet wish for her lovely husband. The caption read, “Happy birthday to the sparkle of my life.” While the first boomerang video shows the two of them jumping towards the camera, the other video shows them sharing a romantic moment during the cake-cutting ceremony. The two share a kiss and a hug after little thank-you speech by Saif. For the beautiful celebration, Saif chose to dress in a pink and white kurta pajama, while Kareena compliments him in a Rajdeep Ranawat kaftan. The post was flooded with likes and comments from their industry friends and fans. While Malaika Arora and sister Amruta Arora shared raising a toast emojis and hearts in the comments section, Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan commented, “Putting the ooooo in boomerang!”

Apart from this, Kareena also made a beautiful video capturing 50 Years of birthday boy’s life. It is a 22-minute long video but she only shared a shorter version of the same on her IGTV on Instagram. It comprised of 50 pictures of Saif from his childhood to present. It included moments of his childhood and pictures of him with parents Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. It also had pictures of him with his children, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Taimur and some unseen clicks from Saif and Kareena's wedding. In between, there were a number of personalized notes from Kareena.
She wrote, “Happy birthday. I made a video for Saif’s 50th capturing 50 years of his life, which I shared with him last night. It was 22 minutes long and I still felt there was so much more to be said! Am sharing here a glimpse of 50 pictures of the video that is from the heart! Happy birthday, love... you make 50 looks so good and so well lived! (sic)," Kareena captioned the video.”

Soha along with husband Kunal Kemmu, Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor, along with daughter Samiera, and Amruta Arora with husband Shakeel Ladak had joined Saif at his residence for the party. Soha also shared a sweet birthday wish for Saif on her Instagram handle. Sharing a picture with Saif and Kunal from the party, she wrote, “Happy 50th birthday Bhai!! You inspire me every day to be unapologetically me and remind me that the best does indeed, incredibly, lie ahead. #happybirthdaysaifalikhan @khemster2.”

Kunal also shared a stunning picture of Saif and Kareena from the party and captioned it, “Happy Birthday Bhai.”

Karisma also shared a few pictures with Saif and Kareena. “Happy 50th Saifu! Coolest brother in law ever #family #aboutlastnight #happybirthday #lockdowncelebration,” she wrote.

As they announced on Wednesday, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are looking forward to their second child and their happiness was reflected immensely in their pictures from yesterday. Last week, Soha had poked fun at Saif by calling him a ‘quadfather’ as he would be welcoming his fourth child after Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim, and Taimur. Kunal had told Times of India in an interview, “It is a lot of happiness and a lot of excitement. Can’t wait to welcome this new member of the family. Taimur and Inaaya get along so well and they now have a new member in their gang.”
