Lost His Parents At The Age Of 6 And Worked As Child Labor, Now Owns A Company Worth Rs. 1,200 Crore

Six-year-old Rahkesh was a happy child who joked, laughed sincerely, and did everything a normal child would do. But everything changed the moment he lost his father and mother on the same day. His carefree days were ruthlessly plundered, and heaps of trouble ensued. Since then, he has been looking into life every day and improving. Now he has chosen for himself a successful path in which everyone who knows him is proud of him.

In the glorious days of childhood, one enjoys the usual protection of paternal love and maternal care. But Rakeshui's life turned into pieces of glass under his feet when his parents died in a car accident when he was only 6 years old. He was born into a prosperous Punjab family who owns acres of rare land on behalf of their parents. But fate decided otherwise, looking out the window. The Rakeshui car accident not only shocked the hardships of life but also showed that the people around him, who once loved his company, left him and felt cheated. He had nowhere to go because everyone he knew killed him after his parents died.

But Rakesh had only a single option: take life on street corners. He was reunited, he remembered how his mother had always put high hopes on you, and decided not to give in to the sores of her life. In order to survive, he had to work, even if it meant doing child labor. He began working in a factory after factory, often crying himself to sleep and thinking about his mother's healing touch. Every day would be a burden, weeks went by when I only had food for names. He repaired bikes, stayed at desks, and became a line worker to pay for his education. Sometimes he didn't even have money for medical help.

Life got longer when one day in 1971 Rakesh saw some soldiers training in marches and operations. Their uniforms, order, and pride were immediately attacked. And when he heard "Bharat Mata ki Jai", the motto came to his mind and promised to serve this mother before she died. That was the ambition he nurtured when he was just 10 years old.

Rakesh's custom was to watch a parade of soldiers. One day he went into camp and asked how he could join the army. They told him he couldn't do this unless he finished high school. He had no patience so he passed STD 9 and took a private exam in STD 10. After passing he went back to the training center and told them he was ready to join. After a while, he realized he would join the entry-level because only graduates have the right to become officers.

Rakesh was shocked because he had no money to pay for college. He thought about it and found out he could register privately. Forms and books are paid for by working in factories. He praised all of their efforts and said: "Life must be full of obstacles because if there is no failure, there will be no prosperity or growth."

Captain Rakesh Walia was accepted as an officer in the Indian Army and served there for nearly ten years before resigning due to his wife's poor health. After returning to civilian life, he became a stockbroker and later joined a travel group where he was affiliated with major airlines. He is currently serving as Managing Director at Matrix Cellular, worth more than Rs 1.2 billion.

Rakesh's will, hard work, and self-confidence compelled him to pursue this path to success. He is a great source of inspiration for us and he shows that no matter how difficult the situation is, he always keeps a bright light towards the goal, and if we are determined nothing can stop us.
