This Innovative Startup Is Taking One Step Forward In Saving Lives From Any Bacteria

Face masks are omnipresent these days, most obviously because of coronavirus fears. Across the world face masks are being sold out, hoarded, or sold at a premium. The Indian government briefly banned exports of masks. The Japanese government is giving subsidies for face mask manufacturers, while one leading company, Kawamoto, has seen its share price zoom by 479 percent in one month.

Such grueling times call for desperate measures and this is when BioScarf comes in. This world’s first wearable scarf that filters 99.75% of all airborne particulates around you, is one of the most sought-after accomplishments of wearable technology in recent times. While masks are the only option in cases of covid19, pollution, and illness, this scarf changes the entire scenario in many industries – from healthcare to mining and news reporting.

The idea behind this scarf originated from the event of an American couple – Carton Solle and his wife Hazel went to China for a business trip and the former fell ill because of several complications related to air pollution in the area. It was then that Hazel, upon returning to Atlanta started brainstorming about a scarf that would replace masks as well as provide better protection to pollution and illness alike. Soon they both developed a business model that would help them to provide scarves to the most vulnerable people living in such pollution-prone areas and who cannot afford to buy scarves on their own.

According to Hazel, “Anyone who is seeking a fashionable and functional scarf to protect themselves–or loved ones, and is interested in helping to turn the tide on air pollution-related sickness around the world, should give the Bioscarf a try.” Not only does this scarf protects your lungs, but also keeps you in fashion with its sustainable manufacturing and colors like olive, black, and white. The plush polyester blend in the scarf is made from the 100% post-consumer recycled PET water bottles. And that’s not all, because of all such added benefits this scarf has become a crowd pleaser and has garnered a lot of appreciation from the people across the world. Health meets fashion revolution. G95 claims to remove virtually any infectious organism that you can imagine.

The G95 Filtration Technology was tested at one of the premier testing facilities in the U.S. and it outperformed many of the popular air pollution masks on the market today. On average G95 Filtration Technology filters out 99.75% of all airborne particles 0.1 microns and larger.

A single layer of a cotton t-shirt or handkerchief filters out an average of 30% of airborne particles 50 microns and larger. BioScarf is passionate about not contributing to Climate Change as we are about creating gear that helps protect you from it!  Their cold weather gear is made out of recycled plastic bottles and warm weather gear is made out of hemp. They are developing the world's 1st sustainable single use masks which is the need for a healthy lifestyle and our planet.
