Google Has Made A Big Change To Its Security Features

Google 2 step verification: Google has made two-step verification mandatory for its users. The new feature of the search engine platform has been implemented for everyone from today (Tuesday). The effect of this new rule will be on all Google customers. The two-step verification process will provide an additional security layer. This will give more security to the Google account than before. Google had announced two-step verification in May this year. Due to which the company has made it mandatory from 9 November. Now a one-time password will be sent to the users on SMS or e-mail upon logging in to the account. Google account will open only after entering which. The two-step verification update will be activated automatically.

How to turn on Two-Step Verification -

1. First of all open a Google account.

2. Now tap on Image in the top right corner of the page.

3. Click on Manage Your Google Account just below your email.

4. Click on Security in the navigation panel.

5. Select 2-Step Verification under the Sign-in option in Google.

6. On the next page tap on getting Started.

7. You will need to enter your Google Account password to continue.

8. Now to sign in, you have to listen to the second step of your choice.

9. Now you have to enter your phone number.



10. Enter the code on the phone and click on Turn On.

11. You can also set up other backups like backup code, authenticator app, and security on the next page.
